1. Who we are

Solara ("we", "us") provides solar calculation and reporting software for installers, energy consultants and contractors. You can reach us at office@usesolara.co.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: email, name, company name, optional phone and website.
• Project data: solar calculations, client names and notes you save.
• Billing data: subscription status and payment method, processed by Stripe. We never store full card details.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, error logs. Used to keep the product working.

3. How we use it

To run your account, deliver the calculator and PDF features, process payments, send service emails, and improve the product. We do not sell your data to anyone.

4. Who we share with

Service providers we rely on to operate Solara: Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting and database), Resend (email), and Lovable AI (translations). Each one only sees the data needed to do their part.

5. Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data from your account settings, or by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion, then we erase it.

7. Cookies

We use a small set of cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your language. We do not run advertising cookies.
